HIGH COMMISSIONER DESIGNATE PRESENTS HIS DIPLOMATIC CREDENTIALS

Admiral Ravindra C Wijegunaratne (Retd) WV RWP & Bar RSP VSV USP NI (M) ndc psn, the High Commissioner- designate of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan presented his diplomatic credentials to the President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi at a formal ceremony held at President’s Office Aiwan-e-Sadr at Islamabad on 19 December 2023.

On his arrival at the President’s office premises, designate High Commissioner was extended a red-carpet welcome and escorted by the state cavalcade to review the colorful guard of honour presented by the President’s Guard. Later, he presented his letter of credence to the President Dr Arif Alvi and had a cordial discussion with him.

High Commissioner was accompanied by his family, Mr Christy Ruban, Minister and Brigadier Kaminda Silva Minister Counsellor (Defence) at the event.
