High Commissioner of Sri Lanka calls on Defence Secretary of Pakistan

The High Commissioner of the Sri Lanka to Pakistan H.E. Admiral Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne paid a courtesy call on Defence Secretary of Pakistan Lt Gen (Retired) Hamood uz Zaman Khan HI (M) on 11 June 2024.

Lt Gen Hamood uz Zaman Khan HI (M) warmly received the Sri Lankan envoy upon his arrival at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi.

During the discussion both highlighted the longstanding friendly relationship between two countries and paid attention to enhancing defence cooperation, training opportunities including matters discussed at the last Defence Dialogues held at Colombo on January 2024.

Defence Attache of the Sri Lankan High Commission Brigadier Kaminda Silva and additional secretaries from the Ministry of Defence Pakistan were also present at the occasion.
